With great dedication and passion, Judith Weinstock, Esq., has successfully advocated on behalf of individuals with special needs so they are provided the services, programming, special instruction, interventions, accommodations, and protections they are entitled to under the law. An experienced attorney, Ms. Weinstock has practiced special education and special needs law since 2017. Prior to that she practiced environmental law representing nonprofit organizations for seven years and was also a commercial litigation associate at the Philadelphia law firm of Cozen O’Conner.
Ms. Weinstock is a graduate of Rutgers School of Law earning High Honors and was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John J. Hughes (Ret.), Magistrate Judge, United States District Court, District of New Jersey, and the Honorable Gary S. Stein (Ret.), New Jersey Supreme Court.
An educator herself, Ms. Weinstock was a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor of Law at Rutgers School of Law-Newark, Environmental Law Clinic, and an Adjunct Instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She also served as the Interim Director of Environmental Law Programs, Center of Environmental Legal Studies, at Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York.
Ms. Weinstock has twice attended Camp Sunshine, a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. She has formed close relationships with families from diverse backgrounds working together to navigate the medical, educational and emotional challenges that come from having a child with a serious illness. She also served as the Chairperson of the Community Partnership Committee for the Riverdale Nursery School and Family Center, a preschool committed to serving a diverse population including children with developmental delays.
Ms. Weinstock represents children and their families in the areas of special education, early intervention, transition, bullying, adult services, residential placements, and guardianships.
